Sheba-girl (as I call her) is a cream tabby Persian born September 24, 2000. She is the first Persian in our home, and I have to say I LOVE taking care of her! I had wanted a Persian for about seven years (don't know why I waited so long), and yes, it's more work than a "regular cat," but so worth it. She is a little shy, but she's coming around more and more. She loves to cuddle up next to me when I'm in bed, and I love to pet her while falling asleep. Very soothing drifting off hearing and feeling a cat purr! She, even while being shy with people, is a MANIAC when it comes to playing with her brothers and sister! She also loves to play with me and Heath with the feather, the laser light (highly recommend), and I throw toys for them to chase after all the time. She doesn't particularly care for bath time-it's amazing the noises that can come out of a little kitten! But after all is said and done (and clean), she comes over to love me anyway. We bought her from Beverly Spencer at Dulcie-Jean cattery in Landing, New Jersey. She's a sweet girl! |
